James Robert Mastic,  Age 97, of the South Hills, passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Born February 17, 1928 in Canonsburg, PA to the late Thomas Paul and Christina Theresa (Wrona) Mastic. Loving companion to Patricia Hamilton and beloved husband to the late Sophie (Simikian) Mastic; cherished father of Kevin Mastic (Pat) and the late Alan Charles Mastic; devoted stepfather to Nicki, Danny, Karen and Denise; dear brother to the late Marion, Thomas, Dolly and Louie; adoring grandfather to Eric, Valerie, Desi, R.J., Maddie and Timmy; proud great-grandfather of Aubryn, Tulio, Octavian, Vanagan, Garlyn and Mylo; a special step grandfather to many.
