Hugh Galbreath Obituary

Hugh Clayton Galbreath Age 78 of New Brighton, PA passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family on March 24, 2023. Hugh was born on December 20, 1944 in Rochester, PA to the late Ernest C. and Eva M. (Riggleman) Galbreath.

He was an electrical inspector and worked for St. Joe Zinc, Horsehead Zinc Monaca PA, and Konecranes Santa Fe CA. And numerous Mineral Mines in Arizona and California. He studied at the University of Pittsburgh. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing Bingo, going to the casino in Las Vegas and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his loving and generous heart.

Hugh is survived by his children Hugh (Edwina) Galbreath Jr. of Ellwood City PA, Johanna (T.J.) Hall of New Brighton PA, Shawn (Karen) Galbreath of Georgetown PA, Ryan (Veronica) Galbreath of Hookstown PA, Patricia (Harry Marquette) Galbreath of New Brighton PA, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Hugh was preceded in death by his sisters; Patricia Hinzman, Eloise Galbreath, Nancy Yates, Charlotte Mendenhall.

There will be no viewing services, a Celebration of Life will be held by the family on fathers day weekend.
