Howard Francis Dower Jr.

Howard F. Dower Jr.    Age 77, on Sunday, March 1, 2026, of Pittsburgh, the beloved son of the late Howard Dower and Mary Griffin Dower.  Howard, also called “Howdy” by those who loved and cherished him, loved his family, Pittsburgh sports, and old movies.  He was simple and genuine in nature and kind in spirit.  Howard is survived by several loving cousins and other extended family members. They would like to thank the caregivers at Kane Scott Nursing Center and Gentiva Hospice for their care and support.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice or the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).   Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Resurrection Parish (St. Thomas More Church) on Monday, March 9th at 10:00 am.
