It is with both great sadness and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Helen M. Milanovich, who peacefully passed away on monday, June 15, 2026 surrounded by family and friends at the age of 102. Born on September 17, 1923, in Pittsburgh, Helen was a life-long resident of the South Side where she was well known around the town as Aunt Helen. Helen witnessed over a century of history and change. Through it all, she remained a source of strength, wisdom and love for family, friends and all that knew her. Helen was devoted to her family and friends and found great joy in spending time with them. She loved to hear the church bells ring.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Milo Milanovich, daughter Gloria H. Ray and by her brothers and sisters. Helen was a wonderful grandmother (Bubba) to Kevin M. Ray and Stacy L. Schmitt (Thomas), Mother-in-law to Kenneth A. Ray (Francine Clark), and loving great aunt to many nieces, nephews and friends.
A life span of 102 remarkable years, Helen leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be treasured by all who were blessed in knowing her.
In accordance with Helen’s wishes, no services will be held.
