It’s with heavy hearts, The McCray family announces the passing of our beloved, Harriet C. McCray. Harriet died peacefully surrounded by her family on June 11, 2025 in Carnegie, PA. With gratitude we thank the family and friends that visited with her as she navigated ALS with dignity. Your prayers and support have meant the world to us. Harriet(Precious) was born in Aliquippa, PA and truly took the bull of life by the horns becoming a wonderful wife, mother, bonus mother, grandmother and family leader. She truly lived an amazing life full of fantastic stories about all that she loved and occasionally a hilarious story about what she didn’t love so much. Harriet also had an incredible entrepreneurial spirit - creative, determined, and always full of heart. She took risks, and inspired others to do the same. We miss her already and look forward to celebrating her phenomenal life at her annual Family and Friend’s Day Picnic to be held at a date to be determined with a special tribute honoring our fearless Lady. The family asks for donations in her name to the ALS Association in leu of flowers. Harriet McCray forever in our loving memory as a strong wife, mother, sister, cousin and friend.
