Geraldine “Gerri” (O’Rourke) Edkins

Age 62, of Dormont, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday August 17, 2024. Treasured wife of the late Harry Edkins Jr. Gerri was preceded in death by her parents Mary Nancy and Chris O’Rourke. Beloved mother of Lyndsay and Ryan Kahle (Lacey Fenk). Loving sister of Patrick Sean O’Rourke, Chrissy (Tim) Fife, and the late Kelly O’Rourke. Proud GiGi to Penny Lane and Ryder Dawson Kahle. Best friend of Cynde Nitsche and her mother Jo. 

Gerri worked as the cook for Otto's Hofbrauhaus in Dormont for 20 years. Also a pharmacy tech at Beverly Pharmacy and Giant Eagle on Cochran Rd. She was also the personal care coordinator at the Providence Point in Mt. Lebanon. 

In her free time, you could find Gerri playing Bingo, enjoying the Casino, or just hanging at home with her fur babies. Above all Gerri loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. 

Gerri will forever be loved and greatly missed by all.
