Geraldine Bush Obituary

Geraldine V. Bush went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on October 1, 2021

Born on June 17, 1938, to the late Eugene and Magdaline Crawley, in Heidelberg, Pennsylvania.  She was joined in matrimony with the late Thomas Bush for 48 years. From this union she was blessed with four boys: Jack, Eric, Sean and Jeremy Bush.

Jeri was educated in the Chartiers Valley School District.  She began employment and was a valued employee for the companies she worked for: Chatham Center Parking Authority, General Motors (Chevrolet Division) and Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) until retirement.

Jeri was a caring, fun-loving person with a spirited personality and a contagious laugh with a smile that would light up a room. And “Oh those dimples”.  She loved dancing - first on the floor of the South Park Barn then on the floor of the church.  Jeri was an avid sports fan especially for the Black and Gold, she was privileged to throw out the first pitch at a Pirate game, attended a World Series and also a Penguins game during their first stanley cup championship, high fived Jerome Bettis in a hotel lobby along with coaching her beloved Steelers from her living room.

She leaves to mourn four sons: Jack, Eric, Sean and Jeremy (Jennifer); eight Grandchildren: Mark DeAngelis, Joshua and Adam Bush, Justin Bush, Breanna Psilos, Jaiyah Krocker, Jericho and Jeremiah Bush; six great grandchildren; Sister: Shirley Parker; Sister-in-law: Doris Valar; Aunt: Ollie Canty of Chicago, IL. - and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jeri was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Magdaline Crawley, Husband Thomas Bush.  Sisters LaCrece Banks and Dolores Dungee.
