Eugene C. "Gene" Meehan

EUGENE C. “GENE” MEEHAN  Age 87, of Bethel Park, passed peacefully with family by his side on September 12, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Rose (Sinagra); loving father of Barbara Lee Allen (Bob), Thomas R. (Karen), David B. (Kim) and James E. Meehan (Judy) and the late Gene Ann Witkowski; dear brother of the late Bob, Al, Jack, Rege, Eileen, Mary Ellen and LaVerne; adoring grandfather of Justin, Lisa, Joey, Wyatt, Nicole and Doc; a proud great-grandfather; father-in-law to Joseph Witkowski; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Gene was a jack of all trades with an entrepreneurial spirit. He wore many hats throughout his life including real estate agent, investor and broker.  He was a union iron worker, Pittsburgh local 3 and owned a Dairy Queen, Tom Thumb Raceway and operated a personal greeting card business. Over the past ten years, he enjoyed working as a crossing guard at Bethel Park High School.  Eugene honorably served his country in the Air Force as a tail gunner in the Korean war. Gene was a great provider, loving husband and father. Interment service held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial to Good Samaritan Hospice are suggested Arrangements by Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc
