9/12/1948 - 5/30/2025

     After a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease "Erv" or our "Pappy" 76 on May 30th. with his wife Kathy and sister Sandra by his side passed away at home. Erwin graduated from Bethel Park High School 1967 and then went on to join the Army, serving in Vietnam. He returned home and followed in his father’s footsteps eventually owning his own company Adena Builder’s. Erwin was an excellent carpenter. He was an avid motorcyclist, hunter and canoeist enjoyed everything outdoors.

     He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Kathleen and sister Sandra Coglio (John). Erwin leaves behind a son Michael Sauerland, 3 stepchildren who loved and admired him. Jessica Porneluzi (Keven), Donald Stetzer, Lori Stetzer, and 5 grandchildren, along with his longtime friends Pat, Ed and Dale.

Special thanks to the Butler VA. and the Neurology staff at AGH in Pittsburgh.

A private service will be held with family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Ride high my love, keep the back seat open for me.
