Emile Anthony Lorent

Emile Anthony "Tony" Lorent, 67, of Vandergrift, passed away on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at AVH in Natrona Heights. Tony was born on 8/17/1958 in New Kensington, to the late Emile Frank and Dollie C. (Straka) Lorent. He was a student at Kiski Area High School until 1976 and earned his GED prior to enlisting in the Army. He was honorably discharged in January 1979 due to an injury. He worked as an HVAC and property maintenance technician for numerous housing plans, condominiums, and apartment buildings. Tony enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an avid Steelers fan, and was a lifetime member of the North Vandergrift Slovak Club. Tony was a unique person with a good and loving heart. He is survived by his children, Aubree (Wes) Whitlinger, Amanda Lorent, and Zakory (Hayley) Lorent; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. His sisters, Cheryl A. (Lorent) Stange, Laura (Greg) Vilsack, and Laurie Lorent. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Teresa R. (Lorent) Hughes; and brothers, Michael F. "Mike" Lorent and David J. "Jim" Lorent. A celebration of life will be held in January. Arrangements entrusted to BALL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC.
