Donna Jean Powell

Donna Powell, 69, passed away on February 15, 2025, in Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, PA.

Born on November 8, 1955, Donna was a graduate of New Brighton and later graduated from Geneva College with honors and a degree in business administration. She dedicated much of her career to helping others, working as an aide at McGuire Memorial and later serving as a property manager at EB McNitt Apartments.

Donna was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering thoughtfulness and courage. She was a woman of deep faith and found spiritual connection through Jacob’s Tent and Central Assembly of God in Houston, PA.

She is survived by Jay and Barb Baran; Sandra Powell; Pam Powell; Tom and Jami Powell; Jeremy and Jeana Powell; Jessica Ricciardi; seven great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Eleanor Powell; her brother, Thomas Phillip Powell; her sister, Thelma Powell; and her adopted son, Douglas Miller.

A memorial service honoring both Donna and Doug will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McGuire Memorial or a charity of your choice.

Donna’s compassionate spirit touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
