Age 68, passed away July 21, 2020, after a two year battle with cancer and other ailments. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Cathy; his son and best friend, Waylon; and beloved dog, Lily. He was predeceased by son, Jacob. "Bear" was a hard worker his whole life, starting at age 12, cutting grass at a golf course; then working in the mill (Mesta Machine); then becoming a proud Union member of Laborer's Local 373, where he worked hard building all over Pittsburgh and the Tri State area. He retired after 30-plus years. In his younger days, he liked golf and riding motorcycles. But his favorite thing to do was read. He liked to read and drink beer. He said, in his second life he'd like to come back as the writer, Stephen King. Bear was a kind, decent man who lived his life, in his own special way. He was "Much Loved."
