Dennis Francis Cline

Dennis Francis Cline, Esq joined the Lord in Heaven on July 8, 2022. He was 71 years old. Dennis was born on December 27, 1950 and lived in the Beechview Neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA until moving with his family to Scenery Hill, PA in 1993. He attended South Catholic High School graduating in 1968. After high school he attended the University of Pittsburgh  graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Later he attended the Duquesne School of Law, graduating in 1992. Prior to starting his own law practice, Dennis spent approximately 20 years working for Allegheny County Adult Probation as a Probation Officer and Supervisor. He was especially proud of his work with the Probation Officer’s Union - Allegheny County Association of Professional Employees (ACAPE) – serving as Union President for a number of years. In 1971 Dennis joined the Community of the Crucified One and began a lifelong walk with the Lord. It was his involvement with the Community that led him to his wife of 48 years, Wendy (Shane) Cline. Dennis passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family and loved ones. Those who knew him best know that Dennis certainly did it his way.

Dennis is survived by his wife Wendy, of Scenery Hill PA; son Nathan Cline and his Wife Lisa of Bentleyville PA;  daughter Leanne (Cline) Triggs, her husband Tristan, and grandchildren Taylor and Sullivan of Connellsville PA; son Arron Cline of Elizabeth, PA; son Dennis Cline of East Beth TWP, PA; daughter Elysia (Cline) Murphy, her husband Aaron, and grandson Lucas of Daisytown, PA; and son Kevin Cline of Beallsville, PA. He is also survived by his sister Paula Cline, sister Wendy (Cline) Abate, and William (Max) Cline, all of Pittsburgh PA, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding in death are his parents Harry Cline and Regina (Connolly) Cline.

In accordance with his wishes Dennis will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at the Temple of the Community of the Crucified One located at 335 East 10^th Ave, Homestead, PA 15120 on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Friends and Family will be received from 11am until the noon memorial service. Arrangements by Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc.
