Denise Jean Markovich

Denise Jean Markovich (Age 60) passed away in the early hours of Sunday Morning January 29th after a long and courageous 11 year battle with metastatic lung cancer. Hours prior to her passing Denise was surrounded by her loved ones where she asked permission of her daughter if she could go home to heaven and be with her lord and savior. Where she would also be greeted by her mother Joyce Hruby, Father Robert Hruby and twin sister Diane Theil along with other loved ones. Denise graduated from Shaler Area High School where she then went on to be a hardworking waitress and bill collector for multiple companies including Merrill Lynch. A few of Denises favorite things were her children, her only grandson, plants, anything tie dye or peace sign, KLove radio and all things Lynyrd Skynyrd related. When asked by her children what life advice she would give them, her response was “Take a nap whenever you can”. She is survived by Sons Daniel Markovich (Natalie) and Dustin Markovich. Daughter Shyan Fluharty, Grandson Roman Markovich. Sister Bobbi Wilson, Brother in law Joe Wilson. Nephew and nieces Eric Theil, Lynsi Theil, Savanna Barton (Ben). Denise will be greatly missed!  In honor of her life her family is asking that you try to spread more peace along to everyone you come in contact with.

A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday February 4th at 11AM.
