David Anthony Hopfer Sr.

David Anthony Hopfer Sr. passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 55 in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on July 13, 1969, David graduated from Keystone Oaks High School and was known for his vibrant personality and caring nature.

David made everyone in his life feel like rock stars, always very caring, not just towards friends and family, but anyone he crossed paths with.  He was a free spirit, always wanted to bring joy and positivity to others, and had a smile that could light up the whole room. 

An avid music lover and guitarist, David found solace and joy in his hobbies, which reflected his artistic and free-spirited personality.

David is survived by his brother, Daniel Hopfer; sister, Jana Ribeau; son, David Hopfer Jr.; nephew Alex Ribeau; and niece Juliana Ribeau. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Fay Hopfer.

David's presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and joy will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday November 24, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Ball Funeral Chapel 600 Dunster Street Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
