Cynthia Louise "Cindy" Cancilla

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Cynthia Louise “Cindy” Cancilla at the age of 62. Cindy grew up in Dormont before making her home in Imperial, Pa.

Cindy was known for her warm heart, infectious laugh, and radiant smile that could brighten any room. She was a deeply caring person who cherished time spent with family and friends. Some of her happiest moments were spent camping and enjoying the simple joys of life with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Brian Aniuk, and her beloved father, Robert Cancilla.

Cindy is survived by her loving daughter, Lyndsay (Lewis) Klacic (Michael ). She was a proud grandmother to Jonathan and Jacob Ackaoui and to her late son’s daughter, Lola Aniuk. Cindy is also survived by her mother Sara Cancilla and her siblings Maria (Tom) Coulehan, Rob (Jean) Cancilla, and Lisa (Rick) Magnotti, plus many beloved nieces and nephews. 

Cindy’s kindness, laughter, and love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 5-11pm in the (Dormont) Veterans of Foreign War Post 694, 3014 W Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216
