The Life & Legacy of Clenton Wilcox
Clenton Wilcox, 72, of Pittsburgh, PA., was born July 29, 1953, in Brunswick, GA.
He was the beloved son of the late Howard Wilcox and Queen Reeves Anderson. Clenton was one of four siblings.
Clenton attended the Pittsburgh Public school system and graduated from Schenley High School. Clenton worked varies jobs, his last place of employment was the Indigo Hotel, in Pittsburgh, as a Security Guard.
Clenton enjoyed spending time with family and was most fond of playing with his grandchildren or talking to them on the phone. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, reading the Bible, watching Gospel music videos, and playing darts. His favorite songs were "Never Would Have Made It" and "Nobody Greater Than You" he also enjoyed watching Gods beautiful sunsets together.
Clenton loved reading geographical history and Bible history from the Bible. His favorite movies were “The Passion of the Christ” and "Titanic", he thought it was a good love story. I will never forget the featuring song of the Titanic because he would fall asleep, wake up and rewind it again and again. His hobbies consisted of raising fish and watching them in his beautiful aquarium; he said it was calming. He loved to plant all types of seeds and grow beautiful plants and flowers. He had a green thumb for sure. If a plant was dying, he knew just what to do to bring it to life.
Clenton had the opportunity to speak at different elementary schools. He talked about drug addiction and how it could destroy your life and relationships, warning the young girls and boys to stay away from drugs. He always gave God the glory for helping him through his hard times with his addiction. I remember a grandmother wanting him to speak to her grandson, one on one, because she was touched by his testimony.
Clenton departed this life on September 16, 2025, at his residence in Pittsburgh, PA.
