Cheryl Louise Clark

Cheryl Louise Clark of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 78. Cheryl was a beloved wife, friend, and caregiver and leaves behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and love for others.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Cheryl pursued her education at Oglethorpe University and St. Joseph’s School of Histologic Techniques. Equipped with her skills as a Histologic Technician, Cheryl embarked on a fulfilling career, contributing her expertise to several hospitals, including Middleton Hospital and Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Cheryl’s nurturing spirit extended far beyond her professional endeavors. Known for her boundless love for children and animals, she held a special place in her heart for those in need.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her loving husband and soulmate, Richard Allen Clark; her mother, Louise Camp Watson of Norcross, Georgia; her father, Samuel Merritt Cown of Stone Mountain, Georgia; and stepfather, William Paul Watson of Atlanta, Georgia.

Survivors include her brother Samuel Robert Cown of Ijamsville, Maryland, sister Sybil Cown Kirkner of Chocowinity, North Carolina, sister Rosemary Cown Florez of Centreville, Virginia, and several nieces.

Although Cheryl had no children of her own, she was incredibly close to her Goddaughter Pam Huey of South Carolina.
