Cathleen Condello, age 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her home. Cathy was an administrative assistant at US Steel for 18 years before taking a break from working full time to raise her three children. She loved being a stay-at-home mom and was always present at school activities and functions to support her kids. After her kids were raised, she went back to work and enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Cathy always enjoyed the simple things in life. She was an avid gardener, book lover and traveler. In her free time, she found pleasure in rocking on her back porch and spending time with her grandkids.
She leaves behind a loving family that includes her husband Tony, her children; Chris (Carly) Condello, Mark (Cassie) Condello, Caitlin (Brandon) Zataweski and her grandchildren Dominic, Roman, Eva, Ava and Zoey as well as her grand dogs Cooper, Rosie, Gunner and Charlie. She is survived by her siblings Phil (Diane) Reynolds, Deidre (Larry) Zobrist, Sheila (Mike) Templeton and Colleen (Maury) Ferratier. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She will be greeted in heaven with open arms by her parents Marvin and Dorothy Reynolds.
In her remaining weeks, she talked about starting a garden this summer. In lieu of sending flowers, please consider planting something in her honor. A service will be held for family and friends at a later time.
