Carolyn "CC" Marie Christian

Carolyn Christian known as “CC”, of Mt. Lebanon, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at her residence. She is survived by her three loving children Eddie Christian (Ellen), Karen Shallo (Mark) and Kelly Barr (Greg) and her ten precious grandchildren, who she adored. She owned and operated “CC’S restaurant of Mt. Lebanon for over 35 years and became a neighborhood Icon. Known for her comforting “Chicken Dumpling Soup”.  She loved to cook, swim, taking walks with her dog (Buddy), and spending time with her family. But her greatest joy was just being with her grandchildren. She was so proud of all of them and loved to brag about their accomplishments, they were her greatest joy.  CC would like to recognize all of the members of Bridges Hospice and ECCM service for their compassion and dedicated care, it was the best!

Per Carolyn's wishes, there will be no viewing. Her family will hold a private “Celebration of Life “ for immediate family only. If you would like to honor CC and do something in her memory, please make a donation to Bridges Hospice Monroeville, 4130 Monroeville Blvd., Monroeville, PA 15146.
