Carolyn B. Burch, formerly of the North Side of Pittsburgh, PA, was the cherished daughter of the late James and Glennie Anderson. She was a treasured sister of the late Bill, James, and Ronnie Anderson.
Our beloved Carolyn B. Burch lived a beautiful and meaningful life filled with faith, love, and compassion.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Tina; her son, Tyrone; her granddaughter, Danni; her grandsons, Khalil and Tristan; and her precious great-grandchildren, Londyn, Leiyah, Lauryn, and Jovan Jr. Each of them carries her warmth in their hearts — her softness, her strength, and the love that always made them feel safe.
At a young age, Carolyn became a model and was known for her impeccable style and grace. No matter where she went, she carried herself with elegance. But beyond her outward beauty was a heart even more beautiful.
She was a devoted wife and mother who poured her life into her family. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she dedicated much of her time to the full-time ministry, preaching and teaching, helping others come to an accurate knowledge of the Bible. Her faith was not just something she spoke about — it was something she lived every day.
Carolyn was known for her compassion, her empathy, and her willingness to step in and help whenever someone was in need. She was truly a doer of kindness.
She loved bringing family and friends together. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, music, and good food. Many will never forget her signature Southern sweet potato cobbler — made with love and shared generously. She also enjoyed traveling, cruises, and camping trips, creating memories that will forever be cherished.
As an avid reader of the Bible, Carolyn never feared death. She viewed it as a peaceful sleep, free from pain and suffering, and she held firmly to the hope of the resurrection found at John 5:28–29.
Though we will miss her deeply, we find comfort in the faith she held so strongly and in the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in all of us.
“Mom, Grandma, MiMi — your love built this family, your faith strengthened us, and your kindness shaped us. We will carry you in our hearts until we see you again in the New System.” ❤️
