Bruce M. Smith

Bruce M. Smith  69, of Finleyville passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025. Survived by his wife Judy, his children Emily and Jacob, sister Anne Laskowski (Michael), and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Virginia, sisters Kathy and Monica and his niece Heather. Bruce was known for his unique sense of humor including his favorite greeting “If I was any better I would be illegal.” Lovingly known as Mr. Bruce in his later years he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, visiting his daughter in North Carolina, and watching the Pittsburgh sports teams. Family and friends welcomed to his inurnment service at 10:30am on Monday, September 8, 2025 in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Please meet at the cemetery with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Light of Life and City Mission. Arrangements made by Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc.
