April Lynne O'Rourke

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of April Lynne O’Rourke of Brookline. April was born on August 4, 1981 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and she left us far too soon on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

She leaves behind her cherished children Hailey O’Rourke (with Brian Michalski), Anthony DiRenna Jr. (with Anthony DiRenna Sr.), and Haylie Koch, Nevaeh Koch, and Jaelynne Koch (with Doug Koch). As well as her grandchildren Lucilia O’Rourke-Liebro and Ayla O’Rourke-Liebro. Her beloved mother, Bonnie O’Rourke and her siblings, Chelsie Jackson, Kayla (Andy) Olsen, Samantha (John) Seely, her nephew, Rourke Jackson and many aunts, uncles and cousins who will carry her in their hearts forever. She shared her final years and departed this life alongside her companion, Kevin Hunter. She is now reunited in eternal peace with her father, Jeffrey O’Rourke. 

Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to her celebration of life on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 11:00am until the 1:00pm Blessing Service at Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc., 600 Dunster St. Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
