Anthony John Perella Sr.

            Age 81, a lifelong Bon Air resident, passed peacefully with his family by his side on February 4, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother Zelda (Fantone) and father Chester Perella. Survived by beloved wife of 59 years, Patricia (Cahill) and children Tony Jr. (Heidi), Jimmy (Rose) and Leslee, his sister Mary (Perella) Sutter, seven grandchildren (Alex, Samantha, James, Harley, Anthony, Vincent, and Dominick) and three great-grandchildren (Salvatore, Reno, and Braelyn) and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

            Tony was honorably discharged from the 101st Airborne and later retired from the Pennsylvania State Police and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Tony was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed his home away from home in Meadville, PA. He was an active member of FOP Lodge #0047. 

            All friends and family are welcome to Celebrate his LIFE on Friday February 11, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm at Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc. 600 Dunster Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15226. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:30 am in Saint Basil’s Catholic Church, Blessed Trinity Parish 1735 Brownsville Rd., Pittsburgh, PA. 15210.
