Andrew Jerome "Jerry" Haburjak Jr.

Andrew Jerome "Jerry" Haburjak, 70, of Beechview, formerly of Hazelwood passed away peacefully on April 18, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Denise Haburjak (Baldock). Father of Andrew Haburjak (Sarah), Brandon Haburjak (Erin), and Lance Haburjak (Megan), Grandfather of Harper, Hayden, Hadley, and Olivia Haburjak whom he loved dearly.  He is survived by his brother-in-law John, nieces Desiree, Joann, Celeste, and Chickie, and nephew, Gene. He was proceeded in death by his father Andrew Haburjak Sr, his mother Mary Agnes Schaeffer Haburjak, and step-sisters JoAnn and Jacqueline.

Jerry was a devoted father and grandfather. He was very proud of his three sons. He spent many seasons coaching his sons’ youth sports teams and could always be found cheering them on. He loved spending time with his grandchildren who will deeply miss their “Pap”.

Jerry worked as a tradesman for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania until his retirement. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, spending his time enjoying baseball, football, and hockey.

Visitations will be held at Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc. 600 Dunster Street Pittsburgh, Pa 15226 on Thursday, April 20th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 21st at St. Albert the Great - Blessed Trinity Parish, 3198 Schieck Street Pittsburgh, Pa 15227 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Hazelwood.
