Amy B. Lazenga

On Monday, February 28, 2022, Amy Beth Lazenga passed away unexpectedly at the age of 47.  She was born on October 13, 1974, daughter of Joanne Witchko (Arnoni) and James Sanfilippo of Brentwood.  Stepdaughter of Tom Lazenga; granddaughter of Josephine Arnoni; In addition to being survived by her parents and grandmother, Amy will be lovingly remembered by her two children, Christian Bond (Morgan), and Dominque Young; grandson, Roman Bond; sister, Stacy DeMasi (Michael), brother, Tom “T” Lazenga (Lubna); nieces, Gianna DeMasi and Liyana Lazenga; nephew, Deen Lazenga; She will also be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Amy had a fulfilling career as a private health caregiver.  She provided in-home services, support and love to many families.  There is no doubt that she will be remembered by those she cared for in a very special way.  She was fondly referred to as “a part of their family”.  These people spoke so highly of Amy and expressed such gratitude and generosity as a way of saying “thank you” for the devotion, kindness, and dignity she gave to their loved ones.  Sadly, Amy was taken far too soon…She will be forever loved by friends and family, and remembered for her free-spirit, beautiful smile, and big heart. 

A private funeral and memorial service has been planned by the family.
