Alice Schotsch Obituary

Alice A. Schotsch, 83, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully on January 11th, 2025 in Butler Memorial Hospital Butler, PA. Alice was born January 25, 1941 to Jean and William Callahan in Erie, PA. She was a graduate of St. Benedict in Erie PA. before continuing her education at the LCAVTS School of Nursing where she earned her LPN Nurse degree. Alice worked for Hill View Manor as an LPN and also worked over 20 years at St Francis Hospital then Jameson Hospital as a Respiratory Tech and then a Sleep Lab Tech.

She enjoyed reading, spending time in her pool, and watching her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

Alice is survived by her Sister Paula Degenhart of Erie. Children, Charles (Cindy) Bierbauer Jr of Ellwood City, William (Karen) Bierbauer of Ellwood City, and Lance (Jess Jennings) Ferrell of Sharpsville. She was preceded in death by her parents Jean and William Callahan, and her husbands Charles Bierbauer Sr, Clarence Ferrell, and Martin Schotsch.
