John E. Wilson, 69, retired Staff Sergeant of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard Battery C, 1^st Battalion, 107th Field Artillery; peacefully passed away at the home of his daughter and in the presence of his loving family on the 7^th of April 2017.  He is preceded in death by his Father John M. Wilson; Mother Emily J. Wilson; son Johnny Michael; and Brother Daniel H. Wilson.  He is survived by his daughter Tammy L. Wilson; Son Jeffrey M. (Diane) Wilson; grandchildren Ashley, Josh, Lauren, and Sara; great-grandchildren Shawn & Jonathan.  He is also survived by his sister Emily Jane (Steve) Chester; a niece Mindy and nephews Ben & Sam.  He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, hunting, sports, and having a great sense of humor. John will be interred with military honors on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11am at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
