So it's Friday night and me and mom are sitting together laughing and crying about all our cherished memories together. We just miss you and wish you were here. Hope you can see how beautiful, strong and quite simply; hysterical your, our, Izzy has become. You did good, Big Sis, as good as you could and everything else before and after is forgiven and doesn't matter. I go to sleep every night hoping you have found peace and understanding that you were unconditionally loved; always and forever will be. Miss you. Love your little brat of a sister.

I miss you every day. Wish I could have said the words you needed to hear instead of always being mad and angry over your decisions that I could not ever comprehend because I could not understand what this drug did to you. I know it made you feel beautiful and I'm sorry I could not do that for you. I look at my beautiful daughter and can't sleep because I failed you. I would have forgiven anything even if no one else did to have you in my life again. This drug ruled your life and I knew the connection we had before you were born but I think your last thought was on Shawn. That is how much I knew you. You were both so very sick but there was nothing either of you could do to not.forgive. Like a heroin Romeo and Juliet. You can probably never see this but I can't sleep and writing to you is my only therapy. I miss you and would love to have another conversation, sober or high, just to hear your voice again. Thank you for telling me all the things I needed to hear and making us right. My life will always be half empty without you

Marty and Donna,

My thoughts and prayers are with you all through this heartbreaking time. Jamie and
Danielle were such good friends growing up, I am so sad they grew apart. I can not
even comprehend what you are going through losing a child...but remember all the
good memories you have of her....and you have her daughter as a constant memory of her....Thinking of you two!!!

What a beautiful obitituary. As a mother of an addict I am aware of every struggle and emotion. U love them but hate the addict. Your disbelief of how they can put their addiction above their child is heart wrenching. It is a roller coaster and not much you can do to help them. Part of an addicts disease is to refuse help they are all the same, somehow my daughter defeated addiction, i attribute her healing from lots of prayer from some prayer warriors. but this could be me, and my grandaughter and husbands loss and truth. My heart goes out to all of u. God and my marriage kept me sane. It was awful watching my grandaughter suffer, it hurt like a knife stabbing my heart. Your baby is at peace now, she is whole and restored and out if pain and u shall see her again as she Was whole and happy. Know that she is resting in christs arms free from this awful disease.

Dear Donna, Marty and Family,
It’s with heavy hearts that we send our love and condolence to you all, at such a time of tremendous pain and loss. Our words aren inadequate to sooth such deep pain, however our Lord has promised He will wipe away all of our tears, and mourning will pass away. (Revelation 21:4-6). So our prayer is that you will be strengthened and comforted by His Word, and that you too will trust and believe that Danielle is safe in the strong arms of her Creator. With sympathy! Reggie, Diane, Reggie Jr., and Ryan

I am remembering Danielle at her best and she always had a special place in my heart. May you find solace in knowing that she is at peace and is no longer suffering . Know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was in Gateway with Danielle in October... she was such a beautiful and amazing woman and always made me smile. I only knew her for a couple months, but grew to love her in that time. I will miss her dearly. This disease is evil in every way, so cunning, manipulative, and hard to fight. Danielle and her family will remain in my prayers... may God give you strength and peace in your time of suffering. This world has lost a truly wonderful and amazing woman, but heaven has gained a very loving and beautiful soul. I will miss you Danie... rest forever in peace

I cannot imagine the pain that you have been through. I did lose a son (Steve Hirt) last year due to an brain aneurysm. The loss of a child has been the most horrible pain I have ever experienced. Your granddaughter will give you a reason for going on. It is hard!
My son Randy was in Danielle's class. He felt very sad to hear this.

To Parents, siblings, Family of Danielle Walker: I did not know Danielle personally. BUT I do have an idea of the pain you are feeling. I would just like to add my heartfelt condolences to you in the loss of your daughter . Losing a loved one is always difficult, but when it is someone so young, it is heartbreaking! May your family, friends and most of all, Almighty God be with and strengthen you in the days and months ahead.(Isaiah 41:10, 13) Please try to obtain the brochure "When Someone you Love Dies"(jw.org). It was very comforting to me during my time of lost. Again, my condolences.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have watched so many people die of this horrible disease, so young, when Leeann died and a few others I was close to it was very hard. I hope you get solace in knowing her heart and soul is no longer suffering from hurting herself and others she loved. God bless you

I am so very sorry for your loss I know the feelings that you have been dealing with I know they are gut wrenching and Heartbreaking As I too am dealing with a similar situation with my daughter May she now find peace and happiness. This is not a life that an addict wishes to live but has to live because they know no other way. Finding the path home is very difficult for them Just know in your heart that she did love you and always has loved you but this was something she could not overcome
