JAMES A. WILKINSON    On April 15, 2017, age 72, born in Cumberland, MD, son of John and Dorothy (Kelley) Wilkinson; beloved husband of 44 years to Susanne (Quinlan) Wilkinson; loving father of Kathryn (David) Hoke; brother of Stephan Wilkinson; and proud grandfather of John Genet; also survived by nieces and nephews. Jim served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the Office of Management and Budget and the Cost of Living Council in Washington, D.C. Moving to Pittsburgh to attend Duquesne Law School, he became involved in several nonprofit boards, such as the Andy Warhol Museum and being a life trustee of the Carnegie Institute. His final employment ended in August, 2015, when he retired as President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. No visitation. Professional services entrusted to BALL FUNERAL CHAPEL. A memorial will be announced at a later date.
